Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi’s upcoming film, tentatively being referred to as Mega157, now has a title.
On the occasion of actor’s birthday, the makers released the title, along with a stylish teaser of Chiranjeevi.
Sharing the news, Anil Ravipudi wrote on X, “Happy Birthday to the legend himself, our Mega Star. Being part of your journey is an honour I’ll always cherish sir. Presenting you as “మన శంకరవరప్రసాద్ గారు” in #Mega157 is truly a surreal moment. #ManaShankaraVaraPrasadGaru ~ Pandagaki Vasthunnaru రఫ్ఫాడించేద్దాం.”

The film, expected to a comedy entertainer, has Nayanthara opposite Chiranjeevi. It marks her comeback to Telugu cinema after a long time.
The film was launched in March, along with a puja. It was attended by Anil Ravipudi, Chiranjeevi, his daughter, Konidela Sushmitha, who is also producing the film, and Venkatesh Daggubati.
The film will be jointly produced by Chiranjeevi’s daughter, Konidela Sushmitha, under Goldbox Entertainment, along with Shine Screens.
Earlier, Anil Ravipudi announced that Chiranjeevi’s character is named Shankar Varaprasad.
He wrote on X: “Final script narration done & locked. I introduced the character “Shankar Varaprasad” in my story to Chiranjeevi garu.. He loved & enjoyed it thoroughly.”
Speaking at an event in February, Chiranjeevi said, “It’s going to be a laugh riot from start to finish. I’m attempting to be a full-fledged entertainer after so many years, and I’m eagerly looking forward to it, I’m always thinking of going onto the sets and how I will enact the scenes. Whenever Anil comes home to narrate the scenes, we both end up laughing out loud.”
Chiranjeevi has also signed a film with another young director, Srikanth Odela. Unanimous Productions and SLV Cinemas are jointly producing it, and actor Nani is presenting the project.
