The makers of Nani’s much-anticipated Saripodhaa Sanivaaram have unveiled a handful of posters that introduced the characters in the Telugu film. DVV Entertainment, the production house which is bankrolling the flick, launched the character posters on social media on Saturday, 27 July.
The first among the series of character posters was that of senior actor Sai Kumar, who plays Shankaram in Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. While launching the poster, the makers extended birthday wishes to Sai Kumar. The post read: “His innocence and wit will be a treat on the BIG SCREEN.”
The second poster introduced Aditi Balan as Bhadra and captioned it: “Her warmth is unmatched. But her decisions are set in stone.” The film marks the debut of Tamil-Malayalam actor Aditi Balan in Tollywood.
The third poster revealed that the film’s story is set against the backdrop of a fictional place called Sokulapalem.
The fourth and fifth posters were that of Murali Sharma and Ajay. In Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, Murali Sharma appears as Koormanand and Ajay as Govardhan. While introducing their characters, the makers wrote: “To stand against Surya’s ambitions. It calls for equally Massive personalities. Meet Koormanand and Govardhan from the world of Koorma, who are turning up the heat.”
Further, Ajay Ghosh plays Narayana Prabha, Harsha Vardhan as Sudha, and Subhalekha Sudhakar as Kamalakar.
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is written and directed by Vivek Athreya. DVV Danayya is producing it. The music and background score is composed by Jakes Bejoy and the editing by Karthika Srinivas.
The film casts SJ Suryah as IPS officer Dayanand, while Nani plays Surya, a young man who unleashes his anger on Saturdays.

Priyanka Arul Mohan is the female lead. She plays the role of a police constable named Charulatha. She is teaming up with Nani for the second time after Nani’s Gang Leader (2019).
On 26 July, the makers launched the character poster of Abhirami on her birthday. The actor will appear as Chayadevi in the film.
The one-minute-20-second “Not a Teaser” released on 20 July for SJ Suryah’s birthday broke the internet and garnered over 11 million views on YouTube.
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram will hit the screens worldwide on 29 August. It will be released as Surya’s Saturday in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
