Tamil actor Arun Vijay’s next venture with director Krish Thirukumaran, tentatively titled AV36, has now been officially titled Retta Thala.
The makers unveiled the title and first-look poster of Retta Thala on Wednesday, 24 April.
GV Prakash and Karthik Subbaraj unveiled the poster through their social media handles and wished the team the best.
Retta Thala poster reveals that Arun Vijay will play a double role in the film.

The poster also shows both the characters of Arjun Vijay indulging in an intense duel.
Retta Thala features Tanya Ravichandran and Siddhi Idnani as the female leads.
The musical score for the film is composed by Sam CS.
Arun Vijay was last seen in the action thriller Mission: Chapter 1 (2024), directed by AL Vijay. His next is Vanangaan. It is written, directed, and co-produced by Bala under B Studios.
Vanangaan stars Roshni Prakash as the female lead. It is a GV Prakash musical.
Tamil star Suriya was initially roped in as the protagonist in Vanangaan. However, he opted out of the film reportedly after a few changes were made to the script and Bala’s inability to stick to schedule.
Similarly, Mamitha Baiju, who was selected to play the leading lady, also quit the project for some reason.
