Another mythological drama in the making, VN Aditya to render story to ‘Journey To Ayodhya’

VN Aditya to render story to Journey to Ayodhya

Senior Tollywood filmmaker VN Aditya is coming up with a periodic drama titled Journey To Ayodhya.

The makers dropped the poster on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami on Wednesday, 17 April.

A production number 2 of Chitralayam Studios, the movie will be bankrolled by producer Venu Donepudi.

The project was kickstarted on Wednesday with the working title Journey To Ayodhya.

Over the years, we have seen many cinematic adaptations of the Ramayana with iconic actors delivering memorable performances by portraying Sita, Rama, Lakshman, and Anjaneya.

Now, producer Venu Donepudi is all set to revive this timeless epic on the silver screen yet time. The film will hit the theatres in 2025.

Under the supervision of VN Aditya, a dedicated team of Journey To Ayodhya is currently scouting for shooting locations in Ayodhya and other significant places.

The pre-production phase of the flick is progressing swiftly, with the makers laying the groundwork for what promises to be another remarkable cinematic rendition of the Ramayana.

According to the makers, a young director will helm the project.

Renowned actors and technicians will be a part of this ambitious venture. However, the details about the cast and crew of Journey To Ayodhya will be announced soon.

Thammareddy Bharadwaja is supervising the production of this pan-India project, which is mounted on a large scale.

Meanwhile, Chitralayam Studios and People Media Factory are producing Gopichand’s forthcoming film Viswam, directed by Srinu Vaitla. The makers recently released the first strike video.

Interestingly, Kanada actor Yash teamed up with Namit Malhotra to produce Ramayana. Yash’s Monster Minds and Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios will bankroll the prestigious project. Nitesh Tiwari is the director.

The cast and crew of Ramayana is yet to be unveiled. However, there are speculations that Ranbir Kapoor will play Rama and Sai Pallavi will portray Sita.
