After a long time, Anasuya Bharadwaj recently gave an interview to a YouTube channel where she spoke on the making of Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa: The Rule aka Pushpa 2 and how the Sukumar directorial will be more massive than what the audience has seen in Pushpa: The Rise (2021).
The actress is irked by a few meme pages and websites using her name and quotes.
A few news websites misquoted Anasuya. The reports quoted the anchor-turned-actress as saying: “Allu Arjun is apparently upset with his dance moves in Pushpa 1 and is taking feedback from the audience and improving accordingly in Pushpa 2″.
However, the TV anchor took exception to the news reports.
Anasuya Bharadwaj plays the role of Dakshayani in the Pushpa franchise. Her role pushed her career further up.
In the movie, Dakshayani is Srinu’s wife who tries to take revenge on Pushpa for her brother’s death.
A known face in the Telugu film/small screen industries, Anasuya has earned a name for her role as Rangamma Attha in Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam (2018). Her recent film Peddha Kapu 1 (2023) didn’t do well at the box office.
