Akhil Akkineni is known for his charming roles in movies like Akhil (2015), Hello (2017), and Mr Majnu (2019).
He surprised everyone with a major makeover in Agent (2023), but the film brought more disgrace to him at the box office.
However, the boy next door has now transformed his look. He’s sporting a V-shaped muscular body.
At the Salaar success party held recently in Bengaluru, Akhil was spotted with a look different from the days of Agent. Following this, rumours started pedalling across the film circles that he is a part of Salaar 2.
However, it turns out that Akhil’s transformation is actually for his next film Dheera, directed by newcomer Anil for UV Creations.
In Dheera, Akhil will be seen in a beastly look — sporting a muscular body and long hair with a rustic touch. The film is touted to be a village-based sports drama.
It seems like a trend in the Akkineni family; Nagarjuna sported an aged look in Naa Saami Ranga (2024), while Naga Chaitanya aced a rugged fisherman look in the upcoming movie Thandel.
This suggests that the Akkineni heroes are gearing up for a promising show this year with these new and unique avatars.
However, for Akhil, the real test will be how well his movie Dheera performs, and we’ll have to wait and see how things unfold.
