Adrishya Jalakangal trailer tovino

The trailer of Tovino Thomas’s highly-anticipated film, Adrishya Jalakangal (Invisible Windows), has been launched.

The 180-second-long trailer highlights an interesting theme and is similar to director Dr Biju’s previous works — content-oriented parallel films.

In the trailer, Tovino can be seen in a new avatar. His character is shown as a person who can talk to the dead. Interestingly, the only person he interacts with is the character played by Nimisha Sajayan.

According to Dr Biju, the film is a surrealist war drama that speaks a universal language.

Adrishya Jalakangal will have its world premiere at the prestigious 27th Tallinn Black Nights International Film Festival (POFF) in Estonia. It is the first Malayalam film to achieve this remarkable feat.

It is a crucial project for Tovino Thomas since it is arriving right after his blockbuster hit 2018: Everyone is A Hero (2023), which has been picked as India’s official entry for the Oscars 2024.

Efficient team

Adrishya Jalakangal has an efficient team comprising associate director Flevin S Sivan, assistant directors Aravind Raj VS, Anjumol M, Madhumitha R, and Sidharth KP.

The VFX is crafted by Yez Studios and the DI is handled by Vista Obscura Entertainments.

Its music is composed by the celebrated three-time Grammy Award winner Rickey Kej.

It is bankrolled jointly by Tovino Thomas Productions, Mythri Film Makers, and Ellanar Productions.

The movie will be released in theatres on 24 November.
