According to the Sacnilk website, Aadujeevitham witnessed an overall 79.92 percent occupancy in theatres in Kerala on Sunday, 31 March.
On Day 4, the morning shows stood at 69.69 percent and the afternoon shows registered a growth of 86.82 percent. The evening shows stood at 89.40 percent and the night shows at 73.77 percent.
The Tamil version saw an occupancy of 27.41 percent and the Telugu version saw an occupancy rate of 15.18 percent.
As per industry trackers, the total weekend gross for Aadujeevitham is around ₹4.10 crore in Tamil Nadu.
Aadujeevitham earned around ₹8.50 crore in India net on its fourth day in all languages.
It collected ₹34 crore in the domestic market and ₹31 crore from overseas in four days since its release. It earned ₹23 crore in the Kerala market. It grossed ₹1.65 crore in the UAE.
It was not released in the other GCC countries due to censorship issues. However, it got approval for release in Bahrain on 5 April.
In a recent interview, director Blessy said Aadujeevitham was made with ₹82 crore. Its shooting started in 2018 but was delayed and completed on 14 July 2023 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The movie was shot in Jordan in 2018-2019 but was not completed due to Prithviraj’s date clashes.
The team reached Jordan in 2020 and then planned to shoot in Algeria. However, they got stuck in Jordan for 65 days due to COVID-19 restrictions. The team shot the major portions in Jordan and returned after two and a half months.
For the next year shooting didn’t happen due to the pandemic, but post-production works were in full swing.
The rest of the shooting started in March 2022 and ended in June 2022. The movie was shot in Algeria, the Sahara Desert, and the Wadi Rum desert during this time.
