Producer Vijay Babu, actor Jayasurya, and director Midhun revealed a poster announcing the making of 'Aadu 3'.

Nobody would even think of making a second part of a movie that wasn’t a box-office hit. But director Midhun Manuel Thomas helmed Aadu 2 (2017) — the sequel to Aadu (2015), an utter flop.
Aadu 2 became a huge success and he became a prominent name in the Malayalam industry. Later, Midhun Manuel Thomas directed the psycho-thriller Anjam Paathira (2020), which was a box-office success.
And now, the filmmaker is all set to make Aadu 3. An official confirmation on the third part was made recently.
Producer Vijay Babu, lead actor Jayasurya, and director Midhun appeared in a poster stating that Aadu 3 will go on the floors soon.
Midhun Manuel Thomas wrote in his Facebook post: “Finally, delivering a promise..!! The biggest of the franchise..!!”
Vijay Babu is producing the film under his banner Friday Film House.
In his post, producer Vijay Babu said the concept and story have already been locked. “They are coming back …Shaji Pappan, Dude, Arakkal Abu, Saataan Xaviour, Sharbath Shameer, captain cleetus and Sasi Aashaan along with all your favourite characters,” he wrote.
Similarly, Jayasurya took to social media to disclose that Aadu 3 will start rolling soon.
Aadu starred Vinayakan, Sunny Wayne, Saiju Kurup, Indrans, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Bhagath Manuel, Renji Panicker, Sandra Thomas, Chemban Vinod Jose, and Vijay Babu.
The second part featured Baiju, Anson Paul, Sudhi Koppa, Mamukkoya, Sethu Lakshmi and Athira Patel.
Meanwhile, the cast and crew of Aadu 3 are yet to be confirmed.
