Cyberabad Police have registered a case against Andhra Pradesh Rajya Sabha member and Jana Sena Party leader Lingamaneni Ramesh’s son Lingamaneni Sanjush for alleged rash and negligent driving that reportedly resulted in the death of a showroom executive in front of Inorbit Mall in Hyderabad on 16 August.
The victim, Bharati Mukhi, 26, of Odisha, was returning to work at a Lifestyle store after picking up lunch from ITC Kohinoor when the vehicle, an Aston Martin DBX707 SUV, knocked her down around 3.10 pm.
Mukhi’s colleague Pooja Ashok was also with her when the accident occurred. The SUV was heading towards Cable Bridge from the IKEA side when it hit Mukhi, who was crossing the road.
The young woman suffered grievous head injuries and was rushed to the Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, in the same vehicle. However, doctors there declared her dead on arrival.
On being informed, store manager Panjala Ashwin Kumar rushed to the hospital. He learnt that the maroon-coloured Astin Martin, bearing registration number TG 09 G 0666, was being driven recklessly by Sanjush.

Station House Officer (SHO) KV Subba Rao said Sanjush, a resident of Hitec City, was detained on the day of the accident. Alcohol and drug tests were conducted, and blood samples were sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory. He added that the vehicle has been seized.
Sanjush, 21, is an Engineering graduate from the University of Texas at Dallas and is listed as one of the directors of Vijayawada-based Black Ridge Energy Private Limited.
