Quantum valley to rise in Amaravati within six months, says AP IT Minister Lokesh

Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh on Saturday announced that a cutting-edge Quantum Valley will be established in Amaravati within six months, positioning the state as a frontrunner in India’s AI and quantum tech revolution.

Speaking during an investor roadshow in Bengaluru, Lokesh declared, “Now the whole world is looking at Andhra Pradesh. This is the right time for investment.”

The Quantum Valley initiative, inspired by Silicon Valley, will be developed in partnership with tech giants like TCS, IBM, and L&T, aiming to make Andhra Pradesh a national hub for quantum computing and artificial intelligence.

Calling the move a “game changer in the Indian technical revolution,” Lokesh also said Visakhapatnam is fast emerging as a thriving IT hub.

During the roadshow, he held talks with representatives from leading global firms including JC Penny, Lulu Lemon, Rolls Royce, and Jaguar, pitching Andhra Pradesh as an ideal investment destination.
