AP signs MoU with ANSR

In a major boost to Andhra Pradesh’s IT ambitions, the state government signed an MoU with global GCC leader ANSR to establish an Innovation Campus in Visakhapatnam’s Madhurawada IT Cluster.

The project, expected to generate over 10,000 jobs in five years, marks the beginning of a larger push to create 5 lakh jobs in the IT and GCC sectors.

Minister for IT and Electronics Nara Lokesh hailed the move as a significant milestone, calling Visakhapatnam a rising hub blending the appeal of Bengaluru and Goa. With tech giants like TCS and Cognizant already on board and Google planning its first data centre outside the US, Visakhapatnam is being positioned as India’s next digital powerhouse.

Lokesh emphasized the government’s commitment to talent development and infrastructure, inviting global partners to join in transforming Visakhapatnam into a global tech destination.
