“Will slap you if you don’t mend your ways,” TRS MLC Kavitha warns BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri

TRS Member of Legislative Council (MLC) K Kavitha on Friday, 18 November, warned BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri to stop making baseless allegations and even threatened to slap him.

Kavitha’s comments came after the Nizamabad MP from BJP allegedly claimed that Kavitha had approached AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge and told him she wanted to join the BJP.

Following the TRS MLC’s warning, angry party workers protested outside the MP’s house.

Some of them stormed into Dharmapuri’s residence and vandalised property.

The BJP hit out at TRS leadership accusing it of being complicit in the violence and demanded action against those guilty.
