Why Bengaluru’s garbage is piling up

Bengaluru is once again battling a mounting garbage crisis.

After villagers near the Bellahalli landfill blocked the entry of waste trucks, collection across several parts of the city was disrupted, leaving piles of garbage on roads and near residential areas.
