Tipplers chugged all-time high for Kerala liquor sales on New Year’s eve

Kerala recorded an all-time high of ₹107 crore in liquor sales on New Year’s eve.

Kerala State Beverages Corporation (BEVCO) stated that its 278 retail outlets saw the highest-ever sales on 31 December.

BEVCO raked in a whopping ₹690 crore during the festive season from 22 to 31 December.

BEVCO also stated that sales figures were high because of improved logistics and availability of stock during the year-end festive season.
