Chilling visuals from China of hospitals flooded with Covid-19 patients and morgues filled with bodies has triggered an alarm globally.

Many are concerned by the way China is handling the situation and its repercussions globally, including in India.

South First’s Chetana Belagere spoke to renowned epidemiologist and member of Technical Advisory Committee for Covid-19 in Karnataka, Dr Giridhara Babu, Dr Rajeev Jayadevan, co-chairman of the National IMA Covid Task Force from Kerala, and Dr Rakesh Mishra, noted scientist and director of the Tata Institute for Genetics and Society.
