Tamil Nadu Finance Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan on the ‘freebies’ debate

In a South First exclusive, Tamil Nadu Finance Minister Dr Palanivel Thiaga Rajan speaks to Shilpa Nair on the “freebies” debate. He called it an “inanity” with no meaningful value. He also criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making statements on ‘freebies’ and termed it as “beyond hypocritical”. “PM thinks what he does is the greatest thing in the world, but when anybody else does it, it is wrong. It is the ultimate hypocrisy of PM,” he said.
