Slum eviction threat to Migrant workers in Bengaluru

Three migrant workers from the Thubrahalli slum have been illegally detained by the police on 27 June 2022.

Bengali migrant workers living in the Thubrahalli slum of Bengaluru are threatened with eviction. Three migrant workers from the slum have been illegally detained by the police on 27 June 2022. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), police and the land owner have threatened the slum dwellers with eviction, say the workers.
