Shashi Tharoor’s popularity makes party colleagues jittery

Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor hinted that he will focus more on politics in Kerala and has a keen interest in it too.

Tharoor has been meeting people from various sections of society over the last few weeks and has received a grand welcome everywhere.

Political observers say Tharoor’s growing popularity has made many party colleagues jittery.

When asked about the issue, Party State President VD Satheesan refused to comment.

In a recent interview, Nair Service Society General Secretary G Sukumaran Nair, who had shared the stage with the MP at Mannam Jayanthi, said Tharoor had the potential to even become the Prime Minister.
