On 22 June 2020, Jeyaraj and his son Beniks died in police custody in Sathankulam, Tamil Nadu. Brutally tortured by police officers, their deaths shocked the nation and sparked outrage. Five years have passed. The family still awaits justice.

This video is a follow-up field report, revisiting the scene of pain, protest, and perseverance. Despite more than 50 witnesses deposing and clear evidence against the accused, the case drags on due to the absence of a permanent judge and delayed legal procedures.
