Protests on University of Hyderabad campus over sexual assault on student

Students of the University of Hyderabad staged a protest following an alleged sexual assault on a foreign student.

Following the protests on Saturday, 3 December, the administration suspended the lecturer and he was arrested by the police.

Students had earlier alleged that the administration failed to immediately act against the lecturer following the incident on Friday.
