Notorious PT-7 elephant wreaks havoc in Palakkad

Kerala Forest Department officials are on the lookout for PT-7, an elephant that has wreaked havoc in the Dhoni region of Palakkad and other areas bordering Tamil Nadu.

Multiple teams with trained elephants are trying to secure the elephant that has so far killed four people in the region.

The teams led by DFO Arun Zachariah have been tracking the elephant for nearly three weeks and attempts are on to tranquillise the elephant.
