Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked the Congress party for its blatant misuse of Constitutional powers during its tenure and accused it of bringing down 90 democratically elected state governments.
During his reply to the Motion of Thanks to President’s Address in Rajya Sabha, Modi said there was a flagrant violation of Article 356 by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
He also took a dig at parties like the DMK, currently allied with the Congress, reminding them of how the grand old party had brought down their own governments in the past.
