Massive protest by farmers against land acquisition in Telangana

Farmers in the Komireddy district of Telangana took out a massive protest amid a call for a shutdown on Friday, 6 January, against the proposed land acquisition for an industrial zone.

The protests over the proposed acquisition of 1200 acres escalated after an agitating farmer died by suicide a few days ago.
