Man trapped between rocks rescued after 48 hours in Telangana

A 32-year-old man who had slipped into a crevice on Tuesday, 13 December, has been rescued by emergency personnel in Ghanpur Forests of Telangana.

Shada Raju got stuck between rocks when he tried to fetch his mobile phone.

While his neighbours and family members kept him hydrated, rescue operations began the following day when police were informed.

Police used earth movers and a controlled blasting technique to rescue Raju.

He was rushed to hospital where he is recovering.
