Several hundred journalists in Thiruvananthapuram took out a march to Raj Bhavan on Tuesday, 8 November, to protest against Governor Arif Mohammed Khan.
It was against the Governor barring two television news channel reporters from a press conference on Monday.
Under the aegis of the Kerala Union of Working Journalists, many demanded an apology from the Governor.
A visibly irate Arif Mohammed Khan had asked journalists from MediaOne and Kairali News channels to leave the venue of his press conference.
The LDF and UDF also united to criticise the Governor over his remarks on the media.
