Kadlekai Parishe 2024: Basavanagudi to become heritage corridor soon

Kadlekai Parishe, a centuries-long tradition continues even today.

It’s an annual festival that takes place in the month of Karthika Maasa. This festival takes place around the Grand Basavan Gudi Temple in Bengaluru.

The temple is the cultural centre for kadlekai parishe. According to local folklore, the temple was built to appease a bull which was trampling the groundnut crop of farmers.
