On Monday, 9 October, the Kerala High Court ordered that issuance of further summons by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to former state finance minister Thomas Isaac and others in the KIIFB FEMA violations case be put on hold for two months.
Dr Thomas Isaac spoke to Shilpa Nair of the South First, on 17 September, about the Enforcement Directorate’s investigation into the case.
While claiming that ED had no locus standi in the matter, Dr Isaac termed the entire exercise as “harassment” and a fishing expedition” by the central agency.
