YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been an MLA from the Pulivendula constituency since 2014.

In 2019, he polled over 73 percent of the votes and won by over 90,000 votes. B-tech Ravi, former TDP MLC and a vocal critic of Jagan Mohan Reddy is fighting against the incumbent chief minister constituency.
