Hyderabad hosts India’s first-ever Formula E; over 25,000 people witness electrifying race

India’s first-ever Formula E race was hosted by Hyderabad on Saturday, 11 February.

While people queued from early morning, the sold-out race had over 25,000 people.

Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and actor Ram Charan were among celebrities who also witnessed the Gen3 cars racing wheel-to-wheel on the 2.8-km circuit.

The race track has been built on the banks of the picturesque Hussain Sagar lake.
