Ganesh Chaturthi festival turns tragic in the Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu on Wednesday, 31 August. Two men died and two others got injured after a carrying Ganesh idol hit a live electric line near Rajapalayam. The chariot was used for carrying Ganesh idols in a festival procession. Ministers KKSSR Ramachandran and Thangam Thennarasu visited the injured in the hospital. Police have registered a case.
