Former TDP Minister, son arrested by Andhra CID sleuths

TDP leader Ayyanna Patrudu and his son Rajesh, a TDP councillor, were arrested by the Andhra Pradesh CID sleuths from their house in Narsipatnam early morning on Thursday, 3 November.

The police reportedly registered a case of forgery against Patrudu, a former minister, and his son.

Family members alleged police forcibly entered the house after pasting a notice at the gate.

There was also a heated exchange between family members and the police over the manner in which the arrests were carried out.
