Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK Chief MK Stalin on Wednesday, 5 October, asserted that the DMK was not against spiritualism, but against those who are trying to exploit spiritualism for their political and selfish gains.
He was addressing a ‘mupperum vizha’ of Vallalar at the Kapaleeswarar temple in Chennai, organised by the Department of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department.
He further alleged that those who have been using religion for their political survival have been trying to portray DMK’s ‘Dravidian model’ of government was against spiritualism.
