Dalit Rights activists hold protests demanding arrest of Murugha seer

Dalit Rights groups of Karnataka, on Thursday, 1 September, demanded the arrest of Shivamurthy Murugha Sharanaru of Murugha Matha, who was booked under POSCO last week. Protests were held at Chitradurga by Dalit outfits demanding government action. Meanwhile, the Chitradurga court deferred the seer’s anticipatory bail hearing to be held on Friday.
