Class 10 student in Karnataka’s Kalaburagi develops anti-rape footwear that can stun attacker

Vijaylaxmi Ravi Biradar, a Class 10 student from Kalaburagi has won laurels with her innovation of anti-rape footwear that can stun an attacker with an electric jolt.

The student of SRN Mehta School explained that the GPS-equipped pair also enables a person in distress to send an SOS to the police or a family member.

Vijaylaxmi has come up with an RF transmitter to raise an alarm in case there is no network for the GPS-equipped circuit.
