After the BJP announced candidates for the Anaparthy and Araku Valley (ST) constituencies, which had already been announced earlier by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu on 24 February, protests erupted against the saffron party’s decision.

The Anaparthy TDP aspirant, Nallamilli Rama Krishna Reddy, who is also the TDP State Vice President, along with his followers, are protesting against the ‘sudden’ withdrawal.

Nallamilli’s followers are pitching for his independent candidature.
