AIADMK differences: EPS, OPS won’t share bench in Tamil Nadu assembly

AIADMK MLAs led by ESP staged a walkout on Tuesday, 18 October, in protest over seating arrangements in the Tamil Nadu Assembly.

The EPS led faction claimed that despite OPS being expelled from the party and replaced with RB Udayakumar, the Speaker has refused to recognise the latter as Deputy Opposition Leader.

EPS has refused to sit on the same bench as OPS.
