Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy held “Praja Darbar” — People’s Court —  at Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan on Friday, 8 December.

Revanth Reddy had earlier announced the Darbar would be held at Praja Bhavan, previously known as Pragati Bhavan, the official camp office-cum-residence of the chief minister.

The chief minister started receiving representations immediately after arriving at the Darbar.

The officials made arrangements for the people to be seated in a hall in the first building, which the former chief minister, the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, had used as his camp office.

The chief minister, after he was sworn-in on Thursday, announced the removal of the iron fencing and barricades at the Praja Bhavan, which indicated the “beginning of an era of freedom” for the people.
