Telangana CM launches journalist Saye Sekhar's book - Witty Leaks'
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy released the memoirs of Senior Journalist A Saye Sekhar on Thursday, 3 October.
The book titled ‘Witty Leaks’ is a compilation of stories – memoirs – of Saye Sekhar since he began his career in 1988 as a journalist with Eenadu Telugu daily.
The book compiles a lighter side of celebrities, including several CMs of the undivided Andhra Pradesh and CMs of both Andhra and Telangana after the truncation.
NT Rama Rao, Marri Channa Reddy, Nedurumalli Janardhana Reddy, Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy, N Chandrababu Naidu, Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, K Rosaiah, N Kiran Kumar Reddy, YS Jaganmohan Reddy, K Chandrashekar Rao and A Revanth Reddy are some of the prominent political leaders mentioned about in the book.
Apart from the CMs of Telugu states, Saye Sekhar has also covered leaders including late Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, the late Karnataka Chief Minister S Bangarappa, former Chairman of ITC Yogi Deveshwar, and many others.
Taking to X to express his thoughts, Saye Sekhar wrote “It’s a big day for me. It’s a life event.”
Writing about the content of ‘Witty leaks,’ he wrote, “The events covered are mostly interesting anecdotes that bring a smile onto the faces of readers; some of the stories like the death of NTR were poignant.”
