Just two weeks remaining, Telangana government is pulling out all the stops for the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, on 8 and 9 December at Bharat Future City in Mucherla, near Hyderabad.
It will double up as a high-voltage international investment conclave and a grand celebration marking the second anniversary of the Congress-led “People’s Government” in the state.
More than 1,300 high-profile delegates – including Fortune 500 CEOs, venture capitalists, diplomats, consulting giants (EY, Deloitte, PwC, KPMG), real estate leaders (Knight Frank, CBRE, JLL), and tech visionaries such as Analog AI’s Alex Kipman and Cisco legend John Chambers – are expected to land in Hyderabad.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has personally written to the top 100 industrialists through CII and CREDAI, and confirmations have poured in.
The summit will feature temporary state-of-the-art halls for 4,000 participants, 70 immersive audio-visual stalls, round-table discussions, and a spectacular Guinness World Record-attempt drone show on the night of December 9, coinciding with the birthday celebrations of Congress top brass Sonia Gandhi.
At a recent review, the CM directed officials to transform Future City into an “international festival” that reflects the state’s achievements over the past two years.
“The venue and stage must be expansive and grand, mirroring the celebrations of two successful years,” he told the Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao, Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, and other senior officials at the Command Control Centre.
A dedicated war room at Praja Bhavan is coordinating every detail – from 500 five-star hotel rooms and high-level security to curated Telangana cuisine menus that showcase the state’s diverse culinary heritage.
The opening day will spotlight the government’s flagship initiatives and welfare schemes, presented through high-impact audio-visual displays designed to create a festive atmosphere. Departments have been asked to highlight tangible results – from restoring transparency in recruitment to expanding WE Hub for women entrepreneurs and TASK for youth skilling.
The climax will be the formal launch of the much-anticipated “Telangana Rising – Vision 2047” document, developed in partnership with the Indian School of Business (ISB) and incorporating public suggestions and expert inputs.
The roadmap lays out a trajectory for $1 trillion economy by 2035 and an ambitious $3 trillion by 2047. Described by officials as a “global investor’s guide,” it details sector-specific policies, incentives, and mega-infrastructure projects including AI City, Musi Riverfront rejuvenation, green logistics parks, industrial corridors, dry ports, and the Net Zero Telangana framework.
Starting 25 November, intensive department-wise review meetings will scrutinise each sector’s contribution to the vision document. Recommendations emerging from these sessions will be incorporated before the final version is released.
“Every department has a crucial role in achieving the $3-trillion target,” Reddy stressed, urging officials to align their future goals with the document’s priorities.
The summit revolves around the “3T Economy” – Talent, Technology, and Trade. Hyderabad’s meteoric rise as India’s GCC capital will take centre stage: 70 new Global Capability Centres were established in 2025 alone, including Vanguard (managing $6.4 trillion in assets), pushing the total to over 120 GCCs and creating 1.2 lakh high-skill jobs.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka listed out the city’s unique advantages – pleasant climate, abundant skilled talent at competitive costs, and world-class infrastructure – while announcing invitations to Harvard, Stanford, and Oxford for offshore campuses and pilot projects in “Physical Intelligence” to solve urban challenges like traffic congestion and lake preservation.
Inclusivity and sustainability are woven into every pillar. Tracks dedicated to women, youth, and farmers will showcase expanded support through WE Hub, TASK, and agri-tech initiatives. Potential MoUs are in the pipeline for sports cities, film studios (involving Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan), tourism circuits, and HMDA-led urban projects.
The celebration extends beyond the elite. From December 10–12, Bharat Future City will throw open its gates to the public for a three-day expo featuring cultural performances, fireworks, food courts, interactive Vision 2047 exhibits, and souvenir kits of local handicrafts. Special buses from every district will bring citizens to experience their state’s future firsthand.
