Synopsis: Former Kaleshwaram Project Executive Engineer Nune Sridhar has been booked for possessing disproportionate assets, just a day before ex-CM KCR’s scheduled deposition before the PC Ghose Commission on the same project. The Telangana ACB conducted raids at 12 locations on Tuesday. Sridhar, now posted in Karimnagar’s CAD Division 8, is under questioning over wealth exceeding his known income.
Former Kaleshwaram Project Executive Engineer Nune Sridhar was charged with disproportionate assets a day before former Chief Minister KCR’s deposition in front of the PC Ghose Commission regarding irregularities in the same project.
The Telangana ACB raided 12 locations across the state on Tuesday in the same regard. Currently working in CAD Division 8 in Choppandandi, Karimnagar, he is being questioned by the ACB on regarding his disproportionate wealth against his income.
The searches revealed that Sridhar owns the following:
– A four-storey building in Malakpet
– A 4500 sft flat in Shaikpet
– A luxury villa in Tellapur
– A three-storey building in Warangal
– Stakes in multiple hotel businesses in Karimnagar
– He also spent crores on his son’s destination wedding in Thailand
