In a review meeting with the Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) officials, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka stressed the importance of adopting modern technology to meet the evolving needs of electricity consumers. He urged speedy completion of the Feeder Outage Management System (FOMS), which is now active in 5,500 of 6,500 feeders, and praised SPDCL for its ISO 9000 certification.

Highlighting consumer-centric services, he compared the 1912 power helpline to the 108 ambulance model, lauding the Emergency Response Team for its swift, on-site resolutions.

He also emphasised proactive power management, including setting up transformers at 70 percent load capacity and planning for a state-wide solar strategy. The Deputy CM called for a robust consumer awareness campaign to showcase the department’s services and upcoming initiatives.
