The Telangana Congress’s Election Commission Coordination Committee has shared pre-printed Form 7 applications allegedly submitted to a BLO at a polling station in Asif Nagar, in the Goshamahal constituency of Hyderabad district.
The pre-printed forms do not contain any details of the applicant.
Pulipati Rajesh Kumar, chairman of the TPCC Election Commission Coordination Committee, told South First that a booth-level assistant (BLA) from the BJP submitted these forms to the BLO of Polling Station number 173, who reportedly did not accept them.
The Form 7 applications in Goshamahal targeted Muslim voters, just like the forms in Musheerabad and Bahadurpura constituencies had, the party claimed.
Goshamahal has been represented by T Raja Singh, who has won the seat thrice on a BJP ticket. He resigned from the party in 2025, citing dissatisfaction with its leadership in the State.
At Musheerabad, the Congress on October 1 claimed that over 30 Form 7 applications seeking the deletion of eligible Muslim voters from the electoral rolls during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) had been filed by a BJP BLA.
The party claimed more such applications were found in Bahadurpura on October 2. South First has seen one such pre-printed application seeking the deletion of a Muslim voter from a polling station in Aliyabad. It has the voter’s details and address pre-filled, but the applicant’s details are left blank.
“We have information from inside sources of BJP that pre-printed Form 7 applications have been distributed among their agents for all 119 Assembly constituencies. Many of them have still not officially filed them,” Pulipati Rajesh Kumar had told South First, while demanding criminal action against everyone involved.
Telangana CEO Sudharshan Reddy had said at a press briefing on Thursday that election officials would thoroughly verify all Form 7 applications before making any decision.
The Election Commission of India separately said that Electoral Registration Officers have been directed to review cases in which more than five Form 7 applications for voter deletion are filed by an individual.
