The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday, 14 July, conducted simultaneous raids at 12 locations linked to Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) Chief Engineer Batchu Ravinder, in connection with a case of assets allegedly disproportionate to his known sources of income.
A team from the ACB’s City Range-I, led by DSP Majid Ali Khan, searched properties belonging to Ravinder as well as his relatives and family members. Among the locations searched was his residence at Sumadhura Acropolis in Nanakramguda.
Documents, property records, and other financial details were examined as part of the operation. Further details on the value of assets found or any incriminating material seized during the searches are awaited from the ACB.
The action against Ravinder comes amid a series of recent ACB raids targeting officials across state departments on disproportionate assets charges.
