The Tejeshwar Murder Case
Synopsis: In a chilling case from Telangana, Jogulamba Gadwal SP T. Srinivasa Rao revealed that 32-year-old land surveyor G. Tejeshwar was murdered by contract killers hired by his wife and her lover, just a month after their wedding. The crime, initially a missing person case, unfolded into a shocking conspiracy involving betrayal, financial motives, and the complicity of multiple family members
In a shocking case that made headlines across Telangana, Jogulamba Gadwal Superintendent of Police T. Srinivasa Rao has revealed details of the meticulously planned murder of G. Tejeshwar, a 32-year-old private land surveyor from Rajaveedhi in Gadwal town. Tejeshwar was brutally killed just a month after his marriage—by contract killers hired by his wife and her lover.
Revealing the details in a press conference, Rao described how Tejeshwar was lured, attacked, and murdered in a conspiracy that involved betrayal, financial deals, and the complicity of multiple family members, turning what began as a missing person case into one of the most disturbing crimes in the region’s recent memory.
Superintendent Srinivasa Rao stated that the case began as a missing person’s report on May 18, lodged by Tejeshwar’s elder brother. The investigation led the police to CCTV footage showing Tejeshwar entering a car with three unknown men—later identified as hired killers—who had befriended him under the guise of needing land survey services.
The accused—Nagesh, Parashuram, and Rajesh—executed the murder. On June 17, they lured Tejeshwar to Kurnool for a fake survey job. On their return journey, between Erravalli and Gadwal, they brutally murdered him inside the vehicle, bludgeoning his head, slitting his throat, and stabbing him in the stomach.
“Following the crime, they contacted Thirumala Rao—bank manager and Ishwarya’s lover—who directed them to take an off-route highway into Kurnool and dispose of the body in a nala,” Rao disclosed. The police later found Tejeshwar’s body washed up in Kurnool, matching his description.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of eight individuals:
Police have seized a vehicle (with two more yet to be recovered), ₹1.2 lakh in cash, multiple mobile phones, GPS tracking equipment, and the murder weapons. Rao confirmed that efforts are underway to fast-track the trial, with a request made for the proceedings to conclude within six months.
The murder, Rao emphasised, was not a spur-of-the-moment act but a long-gestating conspiracy. Ishwarya and Thirumala Rao had reportedly been in a relationship for an extended period, even while Thirumala remained married to another woman. Shockingly, the plan to eliminate Tejeshwar began before Ishwarya had even married him.
“As soon as Ishwarya and Thirumala decided to go ahead with the plan, they began tracking Tejeshwar’s daily movements and even installed a GPS tracker on his vehicle,” Rao revealed.
The plot thickened when Nagesh, a local man seeking bank assistance, approached Thirumala for help with a loan and an auction. Thirumala struck a deadly deal, promising full support in exchange for Tejeshwar’s murder.
The killers then carefully embedded themselves into Tejeshwar’s life, earning his trust before leading him to his death. In an even more disturbing twist, Rao revealed that Thirumala joined the killers after the murder, providing them with fresh clothes to replace their blood-stained garments and guiding them on how to evade detection.
Rao disclosed that Thirumala also had a sexual relationship with Ishwarya’s mother, Sujatha, adding another layer to the already sordid affair.
