Six including POCSO complainant killed in brutal incident in Ranga Reddy district; police intensify manhunt

In a grave incident in Shababad mandal of Ranga Reddy district, a man has allegedly murdered six individuals, prompting the Telangana Police to launch an intensive search operation.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner Tarun Joshi has officially stated that seven specialised police teams have been deployed to apprehend the accused, Rajkumar, who is wanted in connection with the case.
According to preliminary police investigations, Rajkumar, who was released on anticipatory bail in a POCSO case, visited the residence of the 17-year-old girl who had filed the complaint against him. When her mother (aged 45) and grandmother (aged 65) attempted to intervene, he allegedly killed them by slitting their throats. He then took the girl to the vicinity of Akhila Sagar Cheruvu near Daivalaguda and murdered her.
In the early hours of Saturday, 11 July, Rajkumar proceeded to his own residence and killed his wife, Sarita (aged 33), along with their two sons, Parikshit (aged 4) and Daivikshit (aged 2), using the same method. He subsequently fled the scene.

The incident came to light after Rajkumar’s parents informed the police. Commissioner Joshi noted that the killings of the accused’s own wife and children were unexpected. The police are continuing their efforts to locate and arrest the fugitive at the earliest.
