Criticism against BRS

The chief minster, looking back at the 10-year performance of the pervious BRS government, said that the people had rejected that party because it could not rise to the expectations of the people who wanted freedom, social justice and equal opportunities.

Addressing a large gathering, Reddy paid tribute to Telangana’s martyrs and expressed gratitude to Congress leader Sonia Gandhi for fulfilling the state’s aspiration for separate statehood.

He said since assuming office on 7 December 2023, the Congress government has worked to rebuild Telangana’s economic and institutional frameworks, which he described as “chaotic and paralyzed” at the time of the Congress take over.

“We knew it wouldn’t be easy, but we have made the people’s aspirations our agenda, moving forward with determination to reconstruct Telangana,” he said.
