Punjab Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday, 20 December, called on his Telangana counterpart K Chandrashekar Rao at the latter’s official residence Pragati Bhavan in Hyderabad.
The two leaders reportedly discussed the issues confronting the nation and the way forward for the Opposition parties.
The Punjab chief minister explained the various steps that his government had taken to tone up the administration.
KCR gave an account of the progress that the Telangana state had achieved in various sectors.
Bhagwant Mann utilised the occasion to congratulate KCR profusely on his initiative of converting the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) into the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).
The BRS leaders present on the occasion included Rajya Sabha member J Santhosh Kumar and Telangana Planning Board Vice-Chairman B Vinod Kumar.
