The prime minister, for the most part of his address, focused on the peril of family parties, urging people to resist them.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has warned the ruling Congress and the Opposition Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana of possible air strikes or surgical strikes on them accusing them of playing a role in the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS) “scam”.
The prime minister, addressing his second political rally in the state in as many days at Patancheru in Sangareddy district on Tuesday, 5 March, said that he required full support from the people to conduct such strikes.
“Air strikes or surgical strikes are quite possible. But for that to happen I need your backing,” he said implying that he wanted the people to elect the BJP in Lok Sabha elections.
“In Telangana, the Congress and BRS are helping each other out. One covers the other’s back when firing takes place so that both of them could escape from any fusillade. They are together in Kaleshwaram Scam and that was the reason why the Congress government had not taken any action. It is sitting tight on the files,” the prime minister said.
He, however, said that this charade cannot go on forever and that any time surgical strikes or air raids could begin.
“Kaleshwaram has become an ATM for them. Hasn’t the BRS skimmed people off crores of rupees in the scam?,” he asked.
As soon as the prime minister arrived at the venue, he received a rousing reception by the BJP workers and leaders. He reached the dais in an open vehicle, greeting the audience along the way. As his vehicle moved forward, he was immersed in what seemed to be an endless shower of flowers.
The prime minister alleged that the BRS and the Congress are the two faces of the same coin. “They are always together. There is a political alliance between them. This everyone knows. What is more widely known across the world is that they are partners in scams. This partnership is very strong. The people of Telangana, realising that the BRS was corrupt, brought it down in the election. But the Congress which was elected to office proved to be the same,” he said.
The prime minister, for the most part of his address, focused on how dangerous family parties are for the nation and how one should resist and repel them.
“Parivaar parties are driven by filial interests while I was working day and night for my family, which is the 140 crore people of the nation. The dynasty parties are worried as I have started uncovering their corrupt deeds. The Congress is criticising me because I am trying to cleanse the system. They have so far filled their own personal coffers with the money they had looted from the people,” he said.
The prime minister conducted a visceral dissection of how parivaar parties operate and how deleterious their impact would be on the people of a state.
“You have seen their style of functioning from Kashmir to Tamil Nadu. Wherever family parties are in rule, the family benefits while the state becomes impoverished,” he said, pointing out that this was the end result of the rule of the dynasty parties.
“Do they have any licence to loot the nation? With their unbridled corruption, the fruits of development that should go to the youth are not reaching them,” he said, pointing out that he was working selflessly and tirelessly for the welfare of the people and to strengthen the nation’s economy.
“My aim is to make the country the third largest economic power in the world, he said and asserted that he was not the type of man who goes back on his words. “Modi’s guarantee is a guarantee for all guarantees,” he said, adding that the country has already emerged as a beacon of hope for the rest of the world with its rapid economic growth. I want to take the country to new heights of glory,” the prime minister said.
He also said that he fulfilled the promises he made, such as the abrogation of Article 370, which has gained popularity to the extent that it has become a storyline for films.
“I had delivered on the promise of reinstallation of Lord Ram’s statue at Ayodhya temple. I want to usher in Vikasit Bharat. For that to happen let the BJP get not less than 400 Lok Sabha seats. Abki bar, 400 seats,” he added.
Earlier the prime minister inaugurated and laid the foundation for development projects valued at more than ₹7,000 crore at Sangareddy.
