After the successful completion of a massive public meeting at LB Stadium on Tuesday, 7 November, as part of the ongoing Telangana election campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will return to Hyderabad on 11 November to address a similar meeting at the sprawling Parade Ground in Secunderabad.

Buoyed by the response to the meeting — BC Atma Gourava Sabha — organised at LB Stadium, the party has decided to hold the next meeting at Parade Grounds in the name of Dalit Bharosa.

Modi’s itinerary for 11 November

According to party sources, the Prime Minister will land at the Begumpet airport on 11 November at 4.45 pm and reach Parade Ground at 5 pm by road and deliver the speech till 5.45 pm. He will then reach the airport by 6 pm to proceed to New Delhi.

This will be Prime Minister Modi’s second public meeting after the announcement of the state Assembly elections schedule by the Election Commission of India (ECI) for 30 November. The party leadership is leaving no stone unturned in making the meeting at Parade Ground a grand success.

Modi is likely to attend one more public meeting on 19 November.

A star-studded list

The Telangana BJP is mainly relying on the charisma of Modi to garner support from the voters, especially businessmen, women, and youth. At the LB Stadium meeting, Modi launched a blistering attack on the BRS and the Congress for neglecting the backward classes.

After Modi, several Union ministers and chief ministers of BJP-ruled states are likely to visit Telangana to take part in the election campaign.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has already addressed a public meeting in the state and declared that a leader from the BCs would be made the next chief minister of Telangana if the BJP was voted to power in the 30 November Assembly elections.

Union Minister for Defence Rajnath Singh, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal, Union Minister for Women and Child Development and Minority Affairs Smriti Irani, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, and other senior leaders visited Telangana and addressed separate meetings in view of the elections.
